A great deal of thought and reflection over recent events will be necessary, deep contemplation is necessary here in order for the previous lessons to be learnt. This card often appears when an individual is so exhausted that they fail to see that they are extremely anxious and are certainly overreacting. The Four of Swords is an antidote to life's stresses and strains, only by retreat into solitude can the spirit be rebalanced. If the seeker is ready to accept that their thoughts and actions need reassessment then The Four of Swords offers a fast track to rebuilding their outlook. The Knight indicated on this card suggests that only by total acceptance that a period of contemplation and quiet is necessary, can the seeker hope to rejoin their quest refreshed.
